Leaders and citizens need objective and data-based information to make good decisions. The IU Public Policy Institute provides that information. No spin. No agenda. No party affiliation. Just information, based on research and expert analysis. It's a rare commodity in today's world, but it's essential to setting the right course for our communities and our state.

The IU Public Policy Institute is a collaborative, multidisciplinary research institute within the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. The Institute serves as an umbrella organization for research centers affiliated with SPEA, including the Center for Urban Policy and the Environment and the Center for Criminal Justice Research. The Institute also supports the Indiana Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (IACIR).

One of our current projects, Policy Choices for Indiana's Future, explores three important policy areas: Workforce and Education, State and Local Tax Policy, and Energy and the Environment.
