IUPUI Expert Says Central Indiana Becoming Less Rural

In the last decade, the face of Central Indiana has become less rural. In fact, the land with less than one person per acre—the type of land which is undeveloped, forest, or farmland—has declined by more than 23,000 acres in Central Indiana, according to a report released by the Center for Urban Policy and the Environment at Indiana University–PurdueUniversity Indianapolis.
