Troy Riggs: Community should continue assisting police

Troy Riggs, Director of Public Safety Outreach, recently talked to WISH-TV about the city's high number of violent crimes this year, including the recent murder of Amanda Blackburn. Riggs discussed how organizations including nonprofits, faith-based communities as well as the government need to come together to help fight and reduce crime. He also pointed out that tips from local Crime Stoppers have increased 30 percent, even in the most dangerous areas.
