Center to Gauge Biotech Progress: Study Will Quantify Patent, Venture Capital Activity

“Unless you mark the start there’s no way to tell how far you’ve gone. That’s why the Central Indiana Life Sciences Initiative has hired the IUPUI Center for Urban Policy and the Environment to measure a series of key local biotech indicators and track their progress.

‘We’re asking a lot of people to make an investment I this,’ said Anne Shane, CILSI project director for the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. ‘We want to understand if what we’re doing is making a difference and moving the needle in the right direction.’”
