One of the greatest issues relating to traffic crash involvement is driver behavior. Roads can be made safer with engineering, laws can be enforced, and traffic safety programs can educate, but it is very difficult to predict and/or change people’s driving behavior. The Center for Criminal Justice Research recently released a report, Indiana Traffic Safety Facts: Drivers 2007, that examines driver involvement in collisions and issues associated with the age of the driver, including experience, susceptibility of injury, and driver behavior.
