Tami Barreto is a PPI associate who works on special projects. She also has held the positions of chief operating officer, policy analyst, coordinator of communications, and local government internship program manager at the Center for Urban Policy and the Environment. From 1988 to 1991, prior to joining the Center, Ms. Barreto served as director of planning, zoning, and development for the city of Crawfordsville, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree from New College of Florida and a master of public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
