Community Needs and Service Gaps Assessment for La Plaza

Services: Focus groups, Survey design, Strategic planning

Research Areas: Economic Development, Housing & Community Development

Under a consultant agreement from May 2005 through January 2006 with Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates, the Center reviewed existing needs assessments and reports regarding the Latino population in Indianapolis. The project included compilation and analysis of secondary data sources, key informant interviews, and community focus groups. After identifying needs, Center staff generated a preliminary list of organizations serving this population and the services that they provided. Center staff prepared a report to La Plaza summarizing needs and gaps in services.
