The City of Indianapolis Department of Public Safety, Marion County Emergency Management Planning Division requested PPI's assistance in the performance of an Indianapolis region emergency management capability analysis. In order to avoid resource duplication and ensure the best possible investment of limited public safety funds, this project provided a better picture of the resources and capabilities of the emergency management agencies. The eight counties in District 5 are Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, and Shelby.
