Indiana Victimization Survey

Services: Crime analysis, Survey design

Research Areas: Criminal Justice, Public Safety

The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) awarded the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) a grant to conduct a victimization survey of Indiana citizens. ICJI contracted with the Glengariff Group to administer the survey over the spring of 2011. ICJI requested the assistance of CCJR research staff in obtaining human subjects research approval (per BJS requirements) and in analyzing and reporting the Indiana victimization survey data to be provided by the Glengariff Group. Researchers are performing a series of data analyses and producing topical briefs on select crime types addressed in the survey.
