Central Indianapolis Waterfront Project

Services: Economic impact analysis, Program evaluation

Research Area: Economic Development

From 1996 through 2004, the Center performed various analyses for Sasaki Associates on the Central Indianapolis Waterfront Project. The first project was a cost-benefit analysis and economic impact analysis, which was used to secure $9 million in federal funding for Army Corps of Engineers projects in White River State Park. Later projects included evaluations of the ongoing development, including an economic evaluation of the revised concept master plan for the Central Indianapolis Project (including trails along Fall Creek from the White River to Meridian Street).
