Under three contracts with the Indiana Port Commission, the Center performed economic analyses of the Indiana ports. The analyses used RIMS models to analyze the impact of the ports. The 2005 project included quantification of the fiscal benefits generated by the ports for state and local governments and an operating analysis of each port, and description of the private, federal, and local public investment leveraged by Port Commission investments.
