Public Policy Institute
As a university-based research institute focused on issues affecting Hoosiers, their communities and the state as well as residents in other states, the IU Public Policy Institute could not do its work without the help and benefits of some key partnerships.
Indiana University (IU) provides access to colleagues with expertise in a wide range of academic disciplines. A multi-campus public research institution grounded in the liberal arts and sciences, Indiana University is a world leader in professional, medical, and technological education. Indiana University seeks to create dynamic partnerships with the state and local communities in economic, social, and cultural development and to offer leadership in creative solutions for 21st century problems.
The IU Public Policy Institute IU School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) not only provides the IU Public Policy Institute with an administrative home, but also with invaluable collaborations with its faculty and staff. Founded in 1972, SPEA is a world leader in public and environmental affairs and the largest school of public administration and public policy in the United States.
Lilly Endowment has been a generous and enthusiastic supporter of the IU Public Policy Institute since 1992 and recently provided us with a $6.6 million grant that will allow us to build on our 20-year history and continue to meet the growing demand for nonpartisan research. An Indianapolis-based, private philanthropic foundation, the Endowment continues its interest in and support of efforts to build the quality of life and civic vitality of Indiana communities.
Civic and cultural leaders and elected officials from across the state of Indiana also provide their expertise to many of our projects. Their leadership and collaboration serve as an invaluable resource.
