Chris Holcomb joined PPI as a Program Analyst in 2021. His research focuses on utilizing community data to address interrelated challenges associated with social, economic, and community development.
Holcomb currently works on a variety of projects across PPI, CRISP, and CHJR. These efforts include the annual Point-In-Time Count, developing indicators for the Indy Chamber’s Inclusive Growth initiative, and community data analysis on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. Holcomb has more than six years of experience working with local community-based organizations, regional economic development institutions, and nonprofits from across the country. He specializes in community needs assessments, social return on investment analyses, economic impact assessments, and community planning efforts related to economic diversity.
Prior to joining PPI, Holcomb worked as a research and economic development consultant with Thomas P. Miller & Associates. Holcomb has also worked as a GIS mapping specialist and served with various community development organizations around the city of Indianapolis.
