Philip joined IU Public Policy Institute in October 2018 as a program analyst. His role involves working with other PPI researchers in conducting quantitative data analysis and collection on multiple projects. His research interests focuses on substance abuse, health disparities, and harm reduction strategies. His most recent work has included studying the opioid epidemic and improving overdose prevention. Prior to joining PPI, Philip was a Research Specialist at the Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI in the department of Social and Behavioral Sciences performing data analysis on projects related to Housing First and the opioid crisis.
