Staci joined the IU Public Policy Institute in May 2017 as a graduate research assistant and now serves as a Program Analyst. Her role involves collaborating with other PPI researchers to conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis to examine program implementation and outcomes. Staci’s research areas include mental health and substance use, public health and safety, and harm reduction, particularly where these areas intersect with the criminal justice system. Her passion lies in identifying “what works.” Prior to joining PPI, Staci worked as a community supervision manager for the City of Indianapolis where she specialized in pretrial domestic violence cases.
