Brendan Bow joined CRISP as a staff member in September of 2021. His research focuses on numerous policy issues, including health, education, and transportation inequities. Brendan currently works on projects related to criminal justice, housing, and homelessness.
Together with Dr. Eric Grommon, Brendan works to evaluate the Innovative Reentry Initiative project which seeks to improve the capacity and effectiveness of state and local governments to support the success of offenders returning to their communities from incarceration. He also assists in projects relating to violence reduction and leads evaluation of Edna Martin Christian Center’s Family Opportunity Fund grant.
Before becoming a staff member, Brendan also supported exploratory research and evaluations while working at CRISP as a graduate research assistant.
