Center to analyze use of minority and women-owned businesses for Hoosier Lottery

May 05, 2008

The Hoosier Lottery has engaged the Center for Urban Policy and the Environment to study the capacity and utilization of minority- and women-owned businesses to provide goods and services to the agency. Indiana statute requires the Lottery Commission to set an annual goal for MBE/WBE utilization; the most recent analysis of utilization and capacity for the Hoosier Lottery was completed in 1999. Drew Klacik will lead this effort. The Center, with its partner Engaging Solutions, recently completed a similar study for the Indiana Gaming Commission.
