The Center for Health and Justice Research works with public safety agencies, social service organizations, health care workers, and residents to conduct impartial applied research on programs and policies that impact our communities. CHJR projects examine programs and policy issues in law enforcement, corrections, and behavioral health settings—particularly where these areas intersect with the criminal justice system—with the aim of promoting evidence-based and equitable practices.
